Mission: Free Stuff

“We ain’t got no jobs, no money … We heard that other people were getting things for free, so why not us?” – London rioter during the 2011 England Riots

That there quote encapsulates what No Bulljive is all about. It is so dead on it is almost as if that young lad was describing NB and not talking about the conditions of the times.

When not searching for free stuff that others get, NB is dedicated to being the supreme #11 source for Bulls news, the #1 site for kaiju reviews, and overall, the most intoxicated writing on the interweb. We just hope we are doing a service to our main inspiration, the grand Stormin’ Norman Van Lier.

If you have any thoughts to share or free stuff to give, please feel free to email us at: nobulljive@gmail.com

NB is edited by yours truly, Judas Pato, with contributions from DJ HatesYou and Joelseppi.

  2. For the record, as happy as I am to see a basketball season this year, I am even happier to see elaborate obscure references in a Bulls blog once again. Number one in the Off World Colonies and my heart!

More than reporting the very latest in Chicago Bulls news is finding readers who have a chance in catching the most obscure referencing in all of sport. Hell, if I read half of these posts a decade from now, I probably would not get half of them.

Right. Like your humor is THAT topical.

  5. Judas Pato says:

When a man’s partner is killed, he’s supposed to do something about it. It doesn’t make any difference what you thought of him. He was your partner and you’re supposed to do something about it. And it happens we’re in the detective business. Well, when one of your organization gets killed, it’s-it’s bad business to let the killer get away with it, bad all around, bad for every detective everywhere.

  6. Touchdown Mollusk says:

Timely as always. My favorite line from that movie is the bizarre “Yes you are” as the camera pans down to the Spade and Archer silhouette on the floor.

  7. Judas Pato says:

Huston will never be accused as the least peculiar of directors. Most all of his films (that I have seen) have odd shots/cuts (The Treasure of the Sierra Madre comes to mind). And there are a million lines that are fuggin’ tits in Falcon. Yet, personally, I like The Big Sleep over Maltese Falcon for Bogart. I like Hammett over Chandler, and it is harder to see your lord’s work made into film. “When you’re slapped, you’ll take it and like it.”

  8. NICE BLOG! Keep up the good work!
