Well, it was Boozer’s big homecoming, or something, tonight. (They missed Utah last year.) The SLC fans promptly boo’d Booz. It was novel. I may be am cynical, but it really seems like the SLC fans are extras in a movie. I would not be surprised if the game program consisted of directions of when to cheer, boo, laugh, etc. Whatevs.

It was an odd contest, as Bulls opened the game scoring 31 points in the first quarter, 27 points in the second, and then logged 35 points for the rest of the game, and still won. With Noah hobbled by his injury, and the Bulls not having any viable back-up center option, the Jazz were seemingly able to do anything down-low. This led to the bizarre combination of the Jazz not taking full advantage of this opportunity and Thibs’ stubbornness of making sure Noah logged no rest. It worked out well for the Bulls in the end, as they closed out the contest by hitting their free throws, dotting their i’s, crossing their t’s, and eating their peas. It was fun. And for their fun, they get the Spurs on Monday at the UC. Eh.
