  • Derrick Rose’s back showed no structural damage, rather the problem is muscular. It almost sounds like a Valentine’s rejection. “Listen, its not you, its me. Its not structural, its muscular. You understand, right?” What I am trying to say is that Rose is day-to-day, the Bulls play the Kings tonight, and yes, I will be watching the game alone with a tub of cookies ‘n cream ice cream and a Snuggie. Can’t wait for the post-game viewing of Say Anything!
  • Speaking of tonight’s home game, it kicks off an exciting six-game home stand with names like: Kings, Hornets, Jackalopes, and Nets! Good time to rest Rose, eh? The home stand follows the recently finished nine-game road trip, which the Bulls finished with a 6-3 record. The Bulls dealt with the garbage of the East (and the ever so far west Hornets), as they beat every team with a sub .500 record… and then they lost the three games against teams with winning records. Taking their injuries into account, we will call it a wash. “A 6-3 road trip with injuries is only a wash?” Yup, thus is the life of a spoiled Bulls fan.
  • JR Smith is coming back from his journey in the socialist paradise of China and is now a free agent. Wait a second, JR Smith knows how to score and is a shooting guard, hence the perfect fit for your Chicago Bulls, right? Um, he is also crazy, volatile, erratic, redundant, plays little D, and loves chucking shots up. Hell, sounds like fun. Sign him up!

In a movie, standing outside the house of chick that dumped you and blasting a song you screwed to is ROMANTIC! In reality, this is stalker-creepy. Believe, I know.

Just another hard working member of the press, covering the Chicago Bulls and nonsense - often both, simultaneously.

You still haven’t commented on Linsanity. Linsanity Linsanity Linsanity! Also Linsanity. Thank you.

The Linsanity story is amazing. To think that a chick got in a car accident, got amnesia, wondered into a random apartment, befriended an aspiring actress, AND is now starting for the NY Knicks? You cannot make this stuff up, people! I just cannot wait for the second shoe to fall, when Melo comes back, everyone’s roles get switched, and Lin offs himself in some slummy Hollywood apartment. No hay banda, indeed!
