- Derrick Rose and CJ Watson both have elbow owies and are questionable for tonight’s contest in Orlando. From what I have read around the interweb, I expect Rose to play (that’s what he does) and CJ to sit with his more serious boo-boo. However, if both sit, then point guard duty will be up to Ronnie Brewer and John Lucas III Esquire, which should be highly
amusingtrying. (For some reason I have Yakety Sax playing in my head as I imagine this scenario.) Hopefully, Sir Lucas’ three ball continues to be hot. - Rip Hamilton aggravated his sore groin during the first half of Wednesday’s victory over the Pistons. According to me, he will play tonight.
- With Thibs hooking Noah more often these days, it will be interesting to see how quickly our favorite Turk sees action tonight against Dwight Howard. I just hope that he lives up to Stacey King’s nickname and hammers Howard just once, for his hard fouls on Rose.
- With the Bulls visiting Orlando and ESPN being ever so creative, there will be plenty of Dwight Howard to Chicago talk tonight. Personally, it bores me and I do not see it happening. If you want to read about it, here is Sam Smith’s take.
UPDATEVILLE: Rose will play! Rip will …? CJ Watson will make origami unicorns on the bench!
