This is some potentially bad news for MVP Derrick Rose and his personal life.
Too bad not everyone is humanless and impossible to offend, like myself, because this sign is FANtastic. If you are not aware of the movie Human Centipede, you are probably a better person for it.
Can someone tell me that the only player to rival Kyle Korver’s cheers at the UC is Derrick Rose? Kyle Korver is useless outside his three-point shot (and it is not as if that shot is always dropping). Is it a heart-throb thing? Is it that he is white and good at shooting, therefore a fan favorite to the largely white suburban crowd at the UC? Is it the pulled-up socks? Is it the way Dwayne Wade blew past him when Korver was “guarding” him? I need to know. I feel like I am missing out on something.
Expect a better effort from the Heat tomorrow night. Erik Spoelstra, Heat players, media members, and Dominique Strauss-Kahn all commented on the Heat’s lack of effort in Game 1. If nothing else, Wade and Bron are very competitive, egotistical motivated, and talented. There is going to be a bunch more hustling for boards. This is not all bad news for the Bulls. For one, the Bulls are still bigger and better rebounders. Secondly, the Heat crashing the defensive boards will generally mean less fast break points for the players who love to start running the other way once a shot is launched.
The Bulls have confirmed that opera tenor and Blackhawks National Anthem singer, Jim Cornelison will sing the Anthem for the rest of home playoff games. Cornelison brings a strong, traditional take to the Star Spangled Banner, one that gets the crowd pumped. What’s more, Joakim Noah said after Sunday night’s contest that Mr. Cornelison’s ditty really got him going.
I am not sure where this Taj Gibson comic book-esque picture came from, so I do not where to give credit. I think I will just credit awesomeness and call it a day.
