The Bulls are a full game ahead of the Boston Celtics for first place in the Eastern Conference, thanks to the Memphis Grizzlies (without star Rudy Gay) walking into the Garden and pulling out a win last night. The Miami Heat held off the Detroit Pistons in order to move to 2.5 games behind the Bulls.
Here is a link to a fun little (and I stress “little”) interview with Joakim Noah. “They call it ‘The Tornado,’ so beware!”
Everyone seems to be juming on the Derrick Rose and Bulls bandwagon, but few put their money where their mouth is like Floyd “Money” Mayweather. Click on the link (after his tweet) to see his ridiculously large second-half bet he put on the Bulls-Hawks game. It’s good to be “Money” (minus all the legal trouble).
With the aforementioned bandwagoning, come the youtube compilations. All you need is some basic editing skills, a nifty tune, and presto! Below is a particularly fun, NB-Approved, finger waggin’ Rose example.
INJURY UPDATEVILLE 3/25/11: Yesterday, Taj Gibson (toe) and Luol Deng (thigh bruise) sat out another practice. In addition to those two, CJ Watson joined in getting some rest while dealing with a little plantar fasciitis. Yes, the Chicago air must be ripe with the plantar fasciitis bug, as it has bit another Bull (Noah and Gibson dealt with the same problem last season). All three are expected to play tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies at the UC.
