Note Bulljive

  • Joakim Noah is returning to the Bulls line-up, and at the site of the last game he played (way back in December). When the Bulls take on the Raptors in the outpost of Toronto, they will have their sprakplug back! This is a time for great joy! No longer will Old Man Winter fill up the center position in the starting line-up. Instead, one of the most entertaining players in the NBA will be there. Being a high-energy, gritty player (with little finesse), hopefully Noah will have a smooth transition back into season.
  • Dennis Rodman and triangle offense architect (and long-time Bulls assistant), Tex Winter were named two of 12 finalists for the Hall of Fame, with the final decision coming on April 3rd. Both are more than worthy of a spot in the Hall.
  • Carmelo Anthony is finally a member of the New York Knickerbockers. While this is a Bulls site and we refrain from posting about other NBA news, the Knicks have been lined up as a very likely first-round match-up for the Bulls – so this is indirectly Bulls news. Chauncey Billups is making the trip to NY with Melo. So other than a weak center position, the Knicks will start a strong back court (Billups and standout rookie, Landry Fields), along with the star pairing of Melo and A’mare Stoudamire. Hopefully the Bulls can surge into one of the top two spots in the East (or NY moves up), because while this is not a complete team (read: no bench, less defense), it is still a scary power to deal with.
